I was browsing options of buying $HIVE with INR currency. There are many exchanges which allows you to do the P2P [Peer to Peer] trading. P2P trading is an option where two individuals trading cryptocurrency directly get in touch with each other without a middleman or third party. But this according to me is a tedious process where the other peer need to confirm the trade before the exchange could release the crypto assets and at times it takes more than 24 hours to complete the trade. So person in need of immediate crypto asset would need to wait unnecessary even if they have released the funds from their end.
Buying $HIVE Option on Peakd
I had never tried this option of buying $HIVE on peaked. In the wallet page towards the extreme left of the page you have this option to buy $HIVE with credit card and cryptocurrency. When I clicked the "WITH CC" option based on my geo location I got the option to pay via INR and that to in the form of UPI [Unified Payments Interface] or IMPS (Immediate Payment Service) which is very quick options to pay funds here in India. The minimum limit to buying $HIVE set here in terms of INR currency is close to Rs.1708/- which results out to be $21+ approx.
I am keen to exploring this option, as it easy out many hurdles that we normally face dealing with centralized exchanges. Considering the recent pump in $HIVE price, I would wait for sometime for the price to settle and then explore buying $HIVE here from peakd where this trade service is provided by Transak. Transack has an App too that enables users to buy or sell crypto from their app. The App currently covers trade of 130+ cryptocurrencies on 75+ blockchains via cards, bank transfers and other payment methods in 150 countries. Hopefully, my plan is to set an SIP for $HIVE and will leverage this Transak App in near future if my buying trade of $HIVE goes seamless without any hassles.
