Hey All,
Its a bad day for the Indian Stock Market - where Nifty 50 drops nearly 1.5% & Sensex tumbles more than 1,000 pts today as soon as the market opened for trading. Is the profit booking that has initiated the decline or some other news? Looking at the news I came across this article on moneycontrol where it states global cues and selloff in banks are the big factors for todays crash in the market. Markets across the globe struggled as hawkish comments from Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller triggered a spike in yields on the US 10-year bonds and the dollar inde
As for myself, my financial portfolio extends beyond cryptocurrency investments. I am actively engaged in the traditional financial markets, with holdings in mutual funds and stocks of well-established, blue-chip companies. And with this crash today in the market my portfolio became red and at the moment I am incurring losses; here the snapshot of my stock portfolio::
I experienced a slight loss of 1.25%, which is close to Rs. 10,000, considering my total investment of around Rs. 7.51 lakhs. The positive aspect of my portfolio is that I've been constructing it during a period of significant market decline. Additionally, the stocks I hold belong to reputable blue-chip companies. This approach has allowed me to create a high-quality stock portfolio, and I've been able to consistently invest more whenever the market experiences a downturn. So the question to answer which is - Is it a good time to buy Blue Chip Stocks? Based on my experience, it not only helps in averaging out the stock price but also aids in building your stock portfolio. And therefore with the crash observed in Indian Sotck Market it definitely is a good time to buy some quality stocks and I did the same here buy buying Exide Industries and Hindalco Stocks. Here is the snapshot of buy orders that got executed today::
If the market fall further, I do plan to buy some more stocks. I have been targeting the stock of Nestle for sometime now. And if its falls below Rs.2500/- then I have plans to buy 10 stocks of Nestle company. As we navigate the twists and turns of the Indian Stock Market, particularly amidst the recent fluctuations in Sensex and Nifty, the question looms large – Is it a good time to buy Blue Chip Stocks? Remember, the key lies not just in timing the market, but time in the market. Whether the indices soar or dip, the stability and potential growth of blue-chip stocks can offer a reliable anchor in your investment journey. So, as you contemplate your next move in this dynamic financial landscape, consider the wisdom of Warren Buffett:
