I am a proud owner of 1 SPS Node Validator License. I bought the license node during the Tranche 1 sale and currently we have the Tranche 2 sale going on. Where you can buy one license node for $2.5K+ plus 500 VOUCHER tokens are required. So at what price did I buy the license node? It costed me around $1.5K plus 500 Vouchers. Looking at the price now, I am already making a profit of $1k+ dollars.. Not a bad deal right?
Right now just for HOLDing the SPS Node Validator License one can receive rewards in the form of Splintershards (SPS) & VOUCHER tokens. I am getting close to 22 SPS and 4 VOUCHER tokens daily. If we consider the current price of SPS and VOUCHER this would be close to $2.5+ daily passive income. At one point in time, when the price of SPS was gaining attracting I did make close to $4+ daily as well. Anyways, we all know the price of crypto tokens fluctuates and as a result it affects the passive income as well. Overall, I am happy with the investment made into buying the License Node and not redirecting funds into any other crypto project. Question that now arises is should I buy another License node or not?
Before, I answer that question, we need to look at the current price of License node which is close to $2.5K+ and no doubt one could get it even cheaper from internal market like Hive-engine.. As seen from the above image you will need to shed around 3500 HIVE for 1 License Node. Considering HIVE trading price today which is close to $0.48cents; this would be roughly $1680+ for 1 License Node. A direct saving was $1k+ dollars as opposed to buying it directly from the Splinterlands website. So, the next question that arises is why is it being sold that cheap? The answer is pretty simple, folks who would have bought in Pre-Sale and Tranche 1 are trying to book some profits here by selling License node for cheap.
Should I Buy another Node from Internal Market?
To be honest, I am tempted to buy another license node from the Internal market. But as everybody faces cash crunch situation and a bit of fear buying an assets that is bit expensive we need to think twice. I am also sailing on a boat with limited cash and need to take a wise decision by thinking twice, thrice and then take a call. Right, now I am building my cash from the passive income and have reached to a point where I have 50% of cash available to buy the license node. Need to collect another $800 dollars before I could finally buy the node. Therefore the idea is to leverage the passive income as much as possible and if required pump in some extra cash but not more than 10% of the total cost. I also have plans to buying some Tower Defense Packs, so need to balance my purchases buying more Splinterlands assets. So ideally, in a nut shell I am looking forward to buying another License Node and hopefully if things turn out to be in my favor then there would be another License Node coming my way... :-)
