For the last 4 years I have been working with my friends in a community project in my city. We do Calisthenics, which is basically training with our own body weight.
As we are a minority in the fitness community, it didn't take us long to realize that we needed sponsors that had little or nothing to do with our sporting niche. That's how we came to Hive, with the intention of growing and projecting ourselves within what is perhaps the largest “Special Economic Zone” in Venezuela.
At the beginning I was very optimistic about blockchain. We tried to promote Hive in my city through street workout. Getting others to start using Hive, adopt Hive and HBD. Small, medium and large companies, and the general public. They would be interested if everything went well, if indeed the @Valueplan proposal was not a scam for the whole Hive community.
But if you read my blog you will see that then everything collapsed. Even, we stopped believing in @Valueplan project and the whole web of corruption that surrounds it, championed by @Guiltyparties, who is perhaps the biggest corrupt and liar of the blockchain. Although many are afraid to say so for fear of losing their privileges as “leaders” of Hive. We know and understand that the management of Guiltypaties is a job is useless. Because he is not interested in promoting Hive, or he doesn't know how to do it. I think it's a bit of both. I hope you don't fall asleep while reading this, you decrepit old man. I'm still watching, to find out how all the money you spent on your famed “Hive Cup” will benefit Hive. And don't talk to me about a $0.40 Hive, because that has nothing to do with your mindless money burning, giving away money to three starving, talentless commies, who don't care about Hive.
Not to make a long story too long. If you want you can the post where I talked about it a few months ago. Upon realizing that @Valueplan is flawed, many of my friends stopped posting on Hive, a shame, I think. I've even stopped being as active on my blog as I used to be. However, I still post from time to time. Thanks to Hive I have made some great friends. Who read my blog and in good faith hope in the distance that we do well in our project. I send them a big hug, and thanks for all the support.
Little by little we are gaining the desired recognition. This has a lot to do with the social function that this sport fulfills, I think that companies are beginning to understand the potential we have, and I am very happy. In our first event we had 4 important brands. I hope that for next year's edition there will be more, and even think about the possibility of having more than one competition during the year. We will work hard on it.
We continue to grow despite the difficulties.
