Technology has existed for a long time and has kept evolving for years now. Technology basically runs 99 percent of our lives and a good example is what I am using to write this content and the network I am always using to browse the internet and interact here on Hive so it runs what we do every day. Technology has been a blessing and some say it a curse because it has made people lazy and inactive in their lives taking their focus off important matters, but we can't deny the fact that it has been helpful and has saved and made life easier for everyone.
Technology has advanced from what it used to be twenty to thirty years ago. Smartphones were not invented 20 years ago and the internet was not as it was twenty years ago, modern day technology has changed everything and as time goes on there will be more changes to come in the world. Technology has its bad side on us from smoke coming out of refineries and cars which affects the ozone layer to harmful waste being dumped by factories into the seas and oceans which kills aquatic animals below the water.
It has done a lot of harm but now things are changing as countries and individuals are now more involved in Green Tech. Everyone here on the blockchain is familiar with what Green Tech is all about but let me bring it down a little. Green Tech's goal is to reverse the effect of human activities on the environment to reduce waste and pollution on the planet. There's nothing new about the invention of electric cars and buses that don't run on fuel anymore and is user friendly to the environment because it does not produce black smoke which is harmful to the ozone layer.
Countries like Iceland and Norway are leading the race as the countries which are more involved in renewable energy which is great news for their country because they will be able to create a safe environment for future generations and shift completely from energy that is not renewable and harms their environment. Green Tech is leading the way for more clean and renewable energy for the world and probably in a few years to come the number of people around the world involved in renewable will would have increased by 70 to 80 per cent.
It sounds good but other countries that are heavily invested in oil which runs their economy will be in serious trouble when demand for oil starts to drop which is why I applaud Saudi Arabia for the steps they are taking in the country. Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest exporters of oil in the world but the monarch-ruling government is trying to shift the country from not only relying on the revenue from oil but rather looking at tourism to bring in people from all over the world to their countries which is why if you check the transfer market in football you will notice a lot of Saudi Arabia clubs have been active in signing top players and bringing them to the country.
They are also bidding to host the FIFA World Cup so the world can see how the country is flourishing which will attract more investors into the country. The earlier other countries start to embrace Green Tech the better it will be so they won't be left behind when other countries are progressing forward in the future. So guys that will be all for now. Thanks for stopping by and have a good day.
