Sometime ago when threads just came out, I experienced running out of Resource Credits not only once but twice in 3-4 days. From that experience, I thought there will come a time when activities here on the blockchain will become expensive (in terms of RC) so growing one's Hive Power is the best thing to do while $HIVE is still very much affordable. So today, I made it my priority to power up at least the minimum requirement for the PUD.
This account's growth is kinda sporadic. I have been concentrating on growing my Leo Power that's why.
Nevertheless, I'm glad that this account's HP has grown from basically zero in August to 181 HP today. And it would be great to see both its Hive Power and Leo Power keep growing. And because it is fun to participate in the PUD events, I'll be doing them from hereon. Every first for the #HivePUD and every 15th for the #LPUD. And I'm actually thankful that such community initiatives exist where we come together as a community because it adds more to the excitement.
Some basic info about #HivePUD
If I'm not mistaken, this initiative have been running for more than 2 years now. And the organizers know how to keep it fun and enticing by putting up prizes, mostly in terms of HP delegations to eligible participants. There are several large accounts coming together and sponsoring the prize pools and it is also great to see that LeoFinance is reaching out and making its own contribution by sponsoring liquid $LEO to 3 participants.
