It's the end of the month and it is evaluation time on general progress made in terms of blockprints or data created on the chain (long-form posts, threads, comments, replies) and my participation in some of the initiatives on INLEO.
Earlier in the month, I committed to do better, create more content, and try to give value where I can. Unfortunately, things went haywire somewhere along the way and I fell short in all of what was intended. No specific reasons, just me not doing enough. And let me just share them below.
February Prompts
The INLEO team has initiated the monthly prompts where 50 premium subscriptions will be given away. There were 29 topics provided for this month. It's a great help, especially on days when we struggle to come up with something for our long-form content, or even on threads.
Out of the 29 ideas, I utilized 11 of them, this one included. I was hoping to do at least 15 posts and 5 separate threadstorms. Neither of them happened but it's good because it means I didn't run out of things to write about during this period.
Posts, Comments, and Threads
I was still able to do 1 long-form post daily so that's already a big check for me.
For Threads and comments, the Leaderboard on INLEO has been reset before and is still blank today so I consulted my account analytics on PeakD where it shows that the numbers have been dropping a lot compared to late January.
There were times when I made less than 30 comments/threads. Those were the days when we had real-life engagements and were mostly offline. Won't be too hard on myself for this though because those off-the-grid moments were a form of self-care.
Contribution to Playlist
Earlier in the month, I committed to do at least 2 playlists a day to help populate the database with music. The initiative was started by TM and I was very positive that it was going to be completed. Guess what? I've only been able to add 14, not even half of what I initially wanted to accomplish.
It's such a shame to have failed miserably on this and it's something that I'm certainly not proud of, especially when I have indicated broadcasted my intention. It's disappointing, to say the least. Not only that, my participation in the Party Time by Caleb has dwindled. There was no particular reason, just that my energy levels these days are low. And it wasn't only my Hive activities that have been affected but all of my online endeavors.
February INLEO Page Views
Despite all the challenges this month, my page had a total of 1,640 views according to SimpleAnalytics.
The total page views last month were 1,054 so there's an improvement this time. At least some 55% growth in this regard. There were 2 days when the views crossed the 100 mark and I intend to find out what I did in those times to improve next time.
Why is it important?
Well, we know that page views are one of the criteria for the LeoAds (Evergreen). And Khal mentioned before that threads could be included so it's best to improve these numbers if we are to benefit in the long run.
Summing Up
My general activities and performance for this month onchain are subpar and I am aware that it could have been better. It's another learning experience of course. I do recognize where my weaknesses are and hope to work on them next time.
I thought of myself as a hardcore threads user but this month's stats do not live up to it, hehe. Well, things don't always happen the way we expect them. The important thing is that we are aware of where we are falling short and are willing to improve.
This by the way is my final participation in the February Prompts. Looking forward to the next one!
