My late dad said, don't look down on your first step
Starting everything is not always easy. Last month, @fokusnow initiated Hive meetup in Nigeria. I attended the meetup and promised that we will start it last Saturday on August in Uyo. I called friends I know that are on Hive in Uyo. I encouraged them all to come so that we will help each other on Hive.
That faithful day was today by 4pm. At first it as if it won't work but to my surprise one of the prospect invited attended and was so happy to know about Hive and what she stand to contribute to Hive and what she will benefit too. When I mentioned niche on Hive, I noticed that she love #hivefood community .

Premium member:I started by sharing my experience as a premium member on Inleo community. One of the benefits is that a premium member can create a #threadcast and also can create thread that is more than 240 words. A premium member can see his hive activities without login in to give keychain. There is also a red dot close to the one hive username to indicate you are a premium member.
Question came up here, if I'm not a premium member of Inleo, can I use Inleo interface?, Can I write in the community of I'm not a premium member?. The answer was that, you can do all even if you are not a premium member but becoming a premium member is the best way to support the growth of $LEO, $HIVE, $HBD and Hive ecosystem. Adding value to the blockchain should be the goal of all hivers.
Remain active on Hive
One way to remain active on Hive despite pressing situation is to thread on Leo threads. You Leo threads. That's where you interact with fellow hivers with short words and extend to 240 words. One good and interesting part is that you earn Hive power, HBD and LEO why having fun on threads. It is easy to do if you have passion in doing great work on Hive.
Again, it is good to join communities with weekly contest so that as a newbie ,you will not lack what to write each week. I also mentioned about creative communities, if you can draw, sing, cook or do any other creative work, that can keep one active on hive/Leo.
Getting Hive T-shirt
It was another interesting point, as can see in the picture, none of us was wearing Hive T-shirt so yimzy suggested that we do black T-shirts with red hive logo. We all loved it and agreed that we will go for it. Uniform speaks volume in a situation like this. For example we planned to go on Air before our next hive meetup which will hold on last Saturday of September 2024. We also reviewed Inleo referral program and see to it that we need to recruit more per and help them stay active on chain and that will open an opportunity of earning more $LEO in the community.
Refreshment
It is important to have little refreshment after Hive meetup. It wasn't all that easy but we have arranged how we will make it possible this September as we are expecting more new people by last Saturday of the month. Hive is sweet when you give team that motivates you to continue in your Hive life.

Conclusion
In conclusion, we will do our best to make hive known in Akwa Ibom state. Help as many as we can to be active on hive blockchain.
