COPYCAT MARKETING 101 BY BURKE HEDGES is an old book.
I bought this book in 2015, so many things interested me in this book before purchasing it.
One reason was that he dedicated this book to his parents who left a model of hardwork for him to copycat. Next is what he said at the opening page, that if you don't like result you are getting, you should change your approach. He also said if you want to be rich, you should learn from those who are making money.
Immediately i saw this book this afternoon, I stopped the research on compounding i was doing on internet and read chapter 5 because I know i will get what I want with life experience.
This chapter5 is about exponential growth. A life story of Oseola McCarty showed what exponential growth is and how to build it. It doesn't come like magic but with a well plan strategy, and that is savings.
You can clearly see 3 subheading hear. You can see how a woman who never earn $9,000 donated $150,000 to the university of southern Mississippi. The power of compounding. No wonder it is called the 8th wonder of the world. When you have exponential growth, you will have explosive growth. This is because, you have left linear growth behind.

When you are disabled, income stop, you must work to eat. If not you will be hungry. You can not travel to have some rest, no vacation because your income is small. Example of linear growth is salary and self employed. If you loose your job, your income stop. If you are sick as a self-employed, your income stop too because you cannot work.
But it is now that your income is small that the savings and compounding comes in. Remember the woman i mentioned who never earned $9,000. She started saving and compounding and grow. Do not look at your earnings and say it is small. Save now as little as your earning is and see what you will have in the next few years.

For my fellow newbies on Hive, we can say that our income is linear now. What is your plan to save and compound now for it to grow. Remember, there must be linear income before exponential growth. You are to save at least 150 Leo every month that is on the 15th of every month. Do you say is much while there is a great avenue for you to earn Leo token? Am sure someone is happy now,lol.
I can say that Hiveans are among the luckiest people on blockchain. We have everything we need to move from linear income to exponential growth and from their we enjoy explosive growth.
Explosive growth leads to Explosive growth.
As i continued to read my Copycat book chapter 5, i found out that, to be a business owner is where exponential growth is. Your money works for you. Are you there, no you are not. You have created a system that is working and so many businesses are building on that existing system and your income continues with out you doing everything yourself.
For example we have Hive Ecosystem which is thriving on explosive growth. Leofinace also thriving on explosive growth. They have designed a workable system that will continue to work weather they are here or not. Let me give you simple example of it still here on Hive. We have what is called curation trail right? Do you need to know when it votes an account, is your account earning curation reward? That is what i meant on a workable system.
As your growth continue, you start to invest in other businesses. It could be real estate, it could be in other crypto. You can go for vacation without thinking what to eat. You can assist people without starting all over. This is what we call explosive growth.
Change your strategies if you a not getting result.
As a leonians, do not forget your definition. From your linear growth, grow to exponential and explosive. You are the only one to rewrite your history. Your world is in your hands. Your enemy is you. I believe in this word since year 2000 and it is true. What you give to the nature, it is the same it will bring back. Let's take leothreads serious, let's take #lpud seriously and see yourself growing from exponential to explosive.
