Technological advancement is rapidly changing the work culture. Remote jobs and on-site jobs is very debatable topic. I'm a student of Business Administration and business minded person. We all know business set up create job opportunities for on-site workers as well remote job aspirants. Both are part and parcel to each other for me as a business man.
I have experienced on-site job and remote work too and both have their advantages and disadvantages. I find myself lean towards remote job and work from home lifestyle.

Without much ado let's discuss why I prefer remote job š:
I started my business of Fabric Embroidery in my teenage. I was my own boss and I was the boss to employees. I have full control but just a pressure to meet deadlines and quality of service. Luckily, I also got a chance to work as a Teacher in private school in 2024. It was my first full time job. I experienced the employee life.
The first thing I learned, "Teachers are at work in school hours but teaching is a 24/7 job." The pressure of deadlines and homework to finish projects is same for most of the job.
On-site job controlled 7-8 hours of a worker daily. I was almost spending 7 hours of work at workplace and 2-3 hours of homework. I remembered I haven't attended my friends gatherings for two months. Because my job control over my daily schedule.
I have to travel to reach my workplace. Travel cost me around 15$ monthly. I have no time for enjoying my hobbies like writing, exercise and outing. There were less opportunities for growth of income because I was restricted to a certain amount as salary every month.
I'm a Passionate Free Spirit. It's impossible to bound and restrict my liberty. That's ehy I resigned from the job and focused on my business without aby restrictions. Wait...! I'm just going back to the topic!
I also experienced earning money from remote job. That wasn't huge but I realized the perks of online earning. I haven't learned any online earning skill but I am aware many ways of earning money by writing, digital marketing etc.
Growth in remote job is unlimited because of global reach. Remote job is flexible and autonomous. You can balance your work and personal life in remote work. Flexibility in remote work help in cost savings and improving productivity. Remote work is an ideal choice for me. With the world now accepting the shift in working from the traditional traditional method to the more progressive methods, I strongly believe that work from home is not only favorable but essential especially in current society.
