Money is money, yield is yield - don't be greedy.
Don't have a FOMO attitude - Fear of missing out
When you always rush to buy something because you have this idea that you will be left out, you are putting yourself in a difficult situation.
Usually, this will happen when someone you trust (a trusted friend who knows about crypto or an influencer) talks about a currency in a manner that this currency is very valuable at that time, and that you might miss the chance to buy.
Every time you encounter this situation. just put this Warren Buffet quote in your head “fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful.” I have used this quote so many times and it really helped me in making my crypto investment decisions.
Pick Safe Coins
I stopped listening to other people's suggestions about new coins that will come out of the market. Those coins are not yet safe, they haven't built a good reputation and credibility yet. It's like asking an intern architect to build you a sky scrapper ( I'm just exaggerating :) )
Pick a coin that has already proven itself over the years.
Pick a coin that earns
Most crypto investors get bored with crypto investments because they only hold coins and the only way to grow is when there is a pump or an increase in value. It takes time for a crypto to grow its value, and what if instead of increasing its value, the opposite happens?
Look for a coin that can earn while you are holding it. Cryptocurrencies like this are the ones you can stake, has an airdrop, or can be used in futures trading.
