Change the conditions around a norm which humans have been comfortable with and in most cases it will be received with naggings, adapting to a particular situation for too long can become comfortable with no desire for change.
We are in the eighth day of the new Splinterlands rewards system, it was a system I looked forward to before implementation but the first two day had me disappointed because I was used to the older system for claiming six chest daily.
On the third day I developed a different perspective of the reward system, I found a working formula around it which is to accumulate a lot of Season Points as possible while accumulating between 4-5 chest daily.
I get to accumulate +- 106 chests from the old reward system. With the new reward system if I accumulate 4 chests per day that will give me 60 chests in addition to Season chests which I have currently accumulated 34 chest as the time of writing this post being mid season basically. So in total I should be accumulating over 130 chests per season judging by my progress so far which is more rewarding than the old system.
It doesn't come easy though, Energy Capture Rate is taking a beating because the more battle you play the more your ECR depletes and the less DEC you earn compared to ECR above 50%.
As much as I want to accumulate chests, I want DEC as well from ranked battles. I aimed for 6 chests yesterday and as a result, my ECR depleted to 50%, therefore I will be sticking to 4-5 chests per day with the aim of staying around 60% ECR.
ECR Potion:
Potential new potion that could be introduced in the Voucher store
Potion would boost a players ECR
Would most likely be different per league
From yesterday's Splinterlands Town Hall we might be getting ECR Potion introduced to the game which I think is awesome, buy potions, have it boost your ECR and keep battling away.
I am loving the twist to the new system already, no need waiting for end of current season to analyze the new system. The economy around Splintelands keeps broadening, more ways to keep earning and it is cool playing this game you might want to start playing if you are not playing already.
