Crypto and blockchain tech, you can't choose one over the other but personally for me I feel they are just a beautiful union with crypto as a product of blockchain technology.
And where there is crypto and blockchain, finance is not far off. Talk about ETH as a cryptocurrency, its parent host Ethereum blockchain is always in the mix with how well the coin is doing leading to financial issue.
Crypto have given me a fair understanding of what money is and what it should be. Taking Bitcoin's fix supply for example, printing of more BTC or some form of manipulation is out of the equation.
Blockchain on the other hand, its transparency nature just made me fall in love with it, while there are open source, decentralized, permissioned kind of blockchain, the decentralized ones are just appealing to me. For these reason I had no difficulty falling in love with crypto and blockchain tech.
My personal finance have been impacted in the following ways, I now see saving money in fiat as a crime against myself because of the rate at which saving in fiat is depreciating due the print, print habit only know to governments.
I will rather convert those spare fiat to crypto than have it in the bank. I have changed from wanting to invest in anything that offers huge unbelieveable returns to creating wealth slowing and saving in crypto whenever possible.
I see myself as an early adopter in blockchain technology, which places me ahead of the masses, so whatever cryptos I am accumulating now will have a significant boost to my personal finance when the masses finally arrive.
I basically see investment in a very different way, I am now the type that will never put my money in a bank that will offer me 6% pa while I just sold some of my ETH at 8.4% yesterday with less than 48 hours of purchase.
