We live in an instant world as the world advances, gone are the days when there are just one way to get things done with no other choice than do it the long and lengthy way, we can relate this to fast food, no longer are we restricted to cooking after a long day from work, we can just order food from our mobile phone and in minutes Mr. Delivery is at the door. We can look at Uber as another example and the list just goes on how instantaneous our world has become.
Can we always have it instant though? It sure will be nice if we can have all things instantly. As a matter of fact we are getting used to instant things when Uber takes few minutes longer to arrive I sometimes get disappointed warranting one star rating for the Uber driver.
Personally does play a role in how patience one can be in relation to money. I have observed this in friendship, I have noticed how some react to money immediately the notification of payment is received, that itch for spending is triggered. My imagination of what goes through the mind of such people is if they don't spend the money now there might not be another chance for spending.
On the other hand there's the conserving trait in others, they want to save what they have with tomorrow in mind. These are the more patient type, they are able to endure gratitude being delayed.
Looking at this traits if we have it implemented into investment habits, we can almost tell the ones capable of enduring tough times, not throw in the towel and those that are simply happy with small profit to have the spending desire fulfilled.
It is quite an interesting test of character in relation to the bear market we are currently seating with, I am beginning to notice activities on Hive have dropped now in the bear market, it just shows how some are not able to withstand tough times and if deeply looked at, I see no difficult time now on Hive, things remains the same while development is ongoing.
Being able to exercise patient over a long period of time might just end up paying off handsomely than we can ever imagine.
