18 months ago I deposited some HBD to earn interest.
That day I deposited 1000$ into Hive, and as you can see in that post, trading here is harsh and I ended up with 973HBD after spreads and TribalDex 0.75% fee 😭
I would advise to anyone to do it more slowly, to get better prices.
Back then, the interest paid to any HBD saved was 20% APR, but a couple months ago it decreased to 15%, which is still fabulous (way more than the 8% average of the S&P500 and more reliable in my opinion.)
And yes, there are fees when buying HBD and fees when withdrawing and selling for Hive, but you would still net at least 12%. Plus, if you claim the interest on a monthly basis, you will get 16.08% annually instead of 15%.
So... After 18 months, my 973 HBD transformed into...

As you can see, I've got 1261 HBD in savings and 21 HBD withdrawing. I did that to check the selling process.
The next post will be about the selling process and trying to lose as little as possible.
