Some time ago I started a series of posts about "Bagnini from Rimini, Italy". My girlfriend's family is a family of Bagnini and they have already started organizing the beach for the Summer. One of my reasons for coming to Italy, apart from being with my girlfriend, is to help her family in this process.
The best thing about this is that you get to the beach in the morning and you find this wonderful sight 😍.
All this empty space where you only see the sand, normally in Summer it looks like this.
Every year at the end of Summer everything is removed and the following year when Spring begins everything is put back on again. And the first thing they put is the paths where people will walk.
That is what we are doing now. By the way, the one in the purple t-shirt and green shoes is me.
These are the foundations for those paths. They get below the level of the sand, that's why you see me in the photos scooping sand with a shovel. And since it is a base, these cement slabs must be perfectly level.
It is a rather cumbersome but necessary job.
Those cement slabs are heavy, you need two people to carry them.
Today in the morning we finish one of the lines of these slabs and now in the afternoon we will try to finish the second line. The base of the path must be made with two lines that run parallel and that must be perfectly level.
I almost have to go now. I took advantage of the free time after lunch to post this and the time is almost up.
