Hello everyone and Welcome back to the Saturday Savers Club. I'd like to share with you my 3rd Quarter Progress Report. It's the end of my 40th week with the Saturday Savers Club. We meet tomorrow on Saturday over on @eddie-earner's post for our weekly discussions and report of our progress during the previous seven days.
I decided in my 3rd Quarter Progress Report to include the previous results from the second wuarter as well so you can a comparison in my savings and investment progress.
As @eddie-earner and @shanibeer always tell us, "the secret to saving is to start small and to start today. It's as easy as that."
Time flies when you're busy involved in activities that are enjoyable and profitable. Even though I may experience a few setbacks, it certainly has been fun participating in the Saturday Savers Club. However, it's the engagement I enjoy and key to any successful venture. Sharing what I've learned and gathering savings' strategies and possible tips and leads from other members on my savings journey I feel helps keep me on track.
I've highlighted a few of my more substantial items in this progress report.

My Strategy:
HBD
Upon learning that interest will no longer be paid on HBD after HF25, I made the decision to transfer the majority of my Hive and HBD to my HBD Savings. I first withdrew all 371 Hive in my Hive Savings back to liquid. Next, I converted it to HBD. I received a partial amount. I'm now waiting on the remainder so that I can transfer all to my HBD Savings to take advantage of the 10% interest.
I decided last week not to save any additional Hive, but to transfer all future amounts I intend to save in both Hive and HBD to my HBD savings. I began this new strategy last week. My 365 days of Savings will continue as such.
Passive Income
I have been extremely fortunate to have made some investment decisions on Hive to take advantage of continuous passive income. By delegating to and investing in various projects, I receive liquid Hive and tokens. The source of my income enable me to make other investments and use as my primary means of savings in the Saturday Savings Club.
Short-term Strategy
I plan to convert my liquid Hive to my HBD savings on a weekly basis. Again, this strategy has changed as now I plan to HODL my savings in my HBD Savings Account. Also, I stake all my token holdings either weekly or monthly
Long-term Strategy
@cublife Monthly Buy-In. I have participated in this for a few months now. I've decided to continue to participate each month by the 21st for as long as this project continues.
Overall Investment Strategy
During the past few months, I've been luck enough to be involved in Community projects that issued new tokens. I plan to hold these and see how the projects perform before additional investments.
Continue to look for stable long-term projects that don't require a substantial up-front investment. Just like the situation with the payout rewards changing according to a pre-determined cap as explained recently, I too have to keep alert and change my strategies to optimize my investment returns.
Saturday Savers Club
As you can see, following the savings formula for the 365 Day Money Saving Challenge chart shown below does pay off in the long term. As of September 30, I had saved 371 Hive and 180 HBD in my savings. Without the constant incentive and directive at the Saturday Savers Club, this would not have happened.
My next savings strategy is to continue to increase my off-hive crypto investments.
