In this Week 28 of our Saturday Savers Club, I had to step back and carefully considered my current financial situation. I've been steady holding on these past few months as my plans so far have gone according to schedule.
However, I was concerned about my Hive account losing over half its value.
Take a look at the HBD (purple) indicator. Lower-than-expected rewards caused my HBD balance to stall, then fall significantly.
I published content for 5 out of 7 days last week. This decreased is evident in my reduced rewards.
The success of failure of your account is tied directly to your consistent output of quality content.
Given my participation in the Saturday Savers Club, I was unable this week to transfer the stated amount of 13.09 HBD to my savings.
My Hive Goals - Either Bend or Break
I've always possessed a flexible mindset when it comes to rolling with the punches. I needed to take the same approach to my 2022 savings plan.

Re-evaluated my 365-day HBD Savings. I returned to DAY 1 amount (.01 HBD) and transferred it to my savings. This decision will result in me being able to continue saving, but at a lower pace.
Once my rewards kick start again higher, I'll catch up with the chart the Club utilizes as its framework.Reduced my Hive delegations. I reduced the support I provide to Communities on Hive from 11,900 HP to 9,600 HP. This will provide me increased curation support.
I still believe the reduced amount is an excellent show of confidence. I have supported these projects for over two years now. Once my HP reaches 15K, which is my goal for 2022, I will increase my delegations.
Week 28 Activity in the Saturday Savers Club
HBD Savings. Added .01 HBD. As part of this balance, I also received 4.268 HBD as 20% interest on my HBD savings balance. Therefore, my total HBD Savings to date is: 290.133.
