Today the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly options all expire, that is called a quad witching.
It will mean lots of volume in the markets but not necessarily volatility as it will mostly be people rolling over positions.
None of my covered options hit, so I went ahead and opened next months yesterday.
As for Crypto options, weekly closed this morning on Deribit, as ETH rises some of my covered calls are hitting, which gets me a bit less exposed. Although I go ahead and use those funds to sell covered puts.
If you are selling options start slow it can be dangerous.
