Hey, everyone! AI is now part of everything and will not go anywhere. We can't ignore it or eradicate its use, so we have to embrace it and leverage it, having the community experiment with it and understand it, to protect our ecosystem from bad actors.

The use of AI is not negative by itself, and having an understanding of it can be very productive for us. Some users are experimenting with AI and creating great tools with it.
Of course, we are against it being used to abuse the rewards pool or the referral system, but since we know it's not going anywhere, allowing people on Hive who have its best interest at heart to experiment with it is better than having people who want to extract value using it.
At a platform level, we have built mechanisms to defend the referral system and other areas, as well as taking AI accounts out of the data we use for the stats dashboard.
