A plethora of car brands have decided they want a piece of the NFT pie and Bugatti is one of them. They've just sold an NFT of a Bugatti, not a Corvette.
But anyway.
The German-owned French hypercar maker has recently sold an NFT based on the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, a one-off hypercar that the brand introduced at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show and is now believed to be owned by Cristiano Ronaldo.
The NFT was sold through Phillips Auction in London and it costs £378,000 ($458k) and included in the sale, the owner received a physical gold figurine made in partnership with Asprey, a UK designer.
I guess the moral of the story is you can call Ronaldo and see if you can buy his $19 mln car, or you can make an offer for the NFT.
Sort of.
