Full disclosure: I have been in crypto since 2017, I am a current hodler, miner and I have a thing for faucets. The amounts of money you can make are small but if you have a plan and stick to it, you might make some money this way out of effort instead of your hard-earned money.
I'll be making other posts about buying crypto and what I'm doing with it, but today I'd like to share my experience with faucets and PTC sites.
First, as you read in the title, time is money, so the "free money" faucets are offering are in fact you being paid fractions of cents to watch an ad, solve a captcha after you waited the timer to pass. You might spend an entire day claiming only to make less than 1 USD, which is in fact a very small stream of income.
So, why do I like them and why am I writing about it?
Well because of 3 factors essentially:
1 - It's good place to start. It helps new people to get acquainted with crypto, (depositing, withdraing, fees, different currencies, staking etc..) while you're stacking satoshis.
2 - Your crypto will increase in value. The dollar you are claiming today will likely increase in value in the next couple of years. So that 1 USD might be 10 USD or even 100 USD.
3 - Monetize your free time. You're waiting for the bus on at the doctor waiting for your appointment, you can use this time to add some satoshis to you.
With this being said, it is important to not get lost in the vast sea of faucets that exist. It happened to me that I would open several faucets at the same time to be able to claim from all of them only to stop my efforts at the end of that same day and never touch that faucet again. That type of time wasting, while it is part of the process, is something you can and should avoid. So it is important to choose legit, high rewarding faucets that you give the best value for your time.
Let's get to the ones I'm using at the moment
Trustdice - Bitcoin Casino with 2,000+ bitcoin games
Trustdice is a Bitcoin Casino (beware that all of your money is going to be gone if you play dice or other casino games, it is just a matter of time, house always wins) that has a built in faucet. You can get 100 satoshis (BTC) every time you claim (every 6 hours). This means that everyday you can claim 400 satoshis and there is no one paying this much for this little effort. Obviously the goal is that you spend the money in the website but you don't have to.
They have a house currency (TXT) which you get after you wager your balance or use it for sports betting (my favorite since I naturally follow sports). The more you have of this token the better because you'll get paid daily dividends (passive income).

BetFury - First Social Crypto I-Gaming Platform
Betfury, like Trustdice is a crypto casino. Works in the same way, they also have a house token that pays you daily dividends. But in this one there is no sports betting, just casino, so the best option is just to accumulate. They currently offer 1100 satoshis of BNB every 20 min, as they partnered with Binance and it is a very good offer. Just register, go to the free boxes icon at the end of the screen and claim as much as you can. The best thing is that you can diversify your portfolio, claim with a sorter window interval and still have a very decent payout at the end of the day. They also have boxes that you can buy for increasing your profits from time to time.

FaucetCrypto
FaucetCrypto is a different type of faucet. You can claim every 40 min, you can do the PTC (paid-to-click) visits and there are several options for good paying offerwals and shortlinks. The good things about this faucet is the low withdrawal limits (I literally withdraw everyday from this site (which I think is very motivating) directly to my own wallet (we don't even need to use a microwallet like FaucetPay or ExpressCrypto). I can choose from 20+ different cryptos to withdraw and the best thing is that there are no captchas to solve! I'm a big fan of this site, that's why I recommend it
