New Year and New Hive Goals! + My HIVE Power UP!
At the time I start writing this post, there are less than 2 hours until the end of the first day of the year 2023.
The first day of the year was a very good day for me because I spent it with family and the people closest to me.
The first day of the year is also a day when people make balance of the past year and set goals for the new year.
The year 2022 was a sad year for all of humanity because it was the year when the war between Russia and Ukraine began.
History should teach us not to repeat the mistakes of the past, but man has once again proven to have a short memory.
The centralization of political and economic power has often led to nefarious and terrible events in the past.
The war in Ukraine is yet another demonstration of how bad it is to centralize power in the hands of one person or a few people....
The world, now more than ever, needs decentralization and in all areas!
The year 2022 was also a bad year for the world of blockchains because the collapse of LUNA followed by the failure of some centralized exchanges produced a climate of distrust about the entire blockchain industry.
In reality 2022 simply demonstrated once again the fragility of centralization and the fragility of projects with a low level of decentralization.
I discovered the world of blockchains just under four years ago and among the projects I follow Hive is by far my favorite blockchain project because:
- it has so many utilities
- it has unique aspects in the blockchain landscape
- it has no owners and it has a high level of decentralization.
Setting goals is always the first step to reach them and on Hive I have a medium to long term vision and for this reason I have always set growth goals and shared my progress monthly in my Hive blog.
In the year 2023 I would like to try to increase my weight on the Hive blockchain and to do that I need to continue to increase the amount of my HP.
Since I have been on Hive I have never done power down and my next goal is to acquire Orca status.
This will not be an easy goal to achieve and will almost certainly take more than a year to achieve.
Writing and publishing content on the Hive blockchain and interacting with other Hive users are activities that I enjoy doing.
I also really enjoy investing in and playing games built and developed on the Hive blockchain, and I am very happy that the number of Hive games is continuously increasing.
Although it will not be easy to reach more than 55K HP, it will be both a fun and challenging goal and the time it takes will still be time well spent!
At January 2021 I had 11642 HP, on January 2, 2022 I had 20012 HP, and today January 1, 2023 I have 31678 HP
In the year 2021 I increased my Hive Power by +8370 units.
In the year 2022 I increased my Hive Power by +11666 units
In the year 2023, I would like to be able to increase my growth factor even more and 15000 HP would be a good step toward Orca status.
With the start of the new year, I have created a new table to track my progress toward my goal related to HP tokens.
2023: Secondary Goals
On the Hive blockchain there are really so many activities that you can do and consequently there are also so many goals that you can set.
One of the goals that I never reached during 2022 is to be able to publish at least one post per day in a one-month time frame.
I would like to achieve this goal at least once during the year 2023.
This might seem like an easy goal to achieve but it is not because I often have so many work commitments that produce a sharp decrease in the free time I have available.
For example, in the last days of the year 2022 I had very little time available and in 9 days I published only two posts.
My publishing average for the last 5 months is about 15 posts per month.
- August 2022: 10 published posts
- September 2022: 16 published posts
- October 2022: 17 published posts
- November 2022: 13 published posts
- December 2022: 15 published posts
Consistency in posting will be an important element in achieving my goal related to HP tokens, and I hope to be able to increase the average number of published posts during 2023.

Another goal that I would like to achieve during 2023 is a goal related to interaction on the Hive blockchain.
In almost 4 years I have written a total of 18383 comments.
During 2023 I would like to increase my level of interaction and to self-motivate myself I have set my goal related to comments:
- 2023 Engagement Goal (total number of comments): 25000
- Comments written so far: 18383
- Comments to be written during 2023: 6617 comments = 551.41 comments per month
During 2022 I entered the top 500 of Hive users with the most HP, in 2023 I would like to enter the top 350
With 31678 HP I am in the number 442 position.
Hive Power Up Day!
On Hive every first of the month is Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) and every month I always try to participate in this beautiful initiative.
During 2022 I participated 9 out of 12 times in the HPUD initiative.
During 2023 I would like to do 12/12!
A famous saying goes, Well begun is half done!
This morning before leaving home to go celebrate the first of the year with my family members, I did a Power Up of 782 HP.
If you, like me, believe in the potential of the Hive blockchain and have a medium to long term vision you should participate every first of the month in the Power Up Day which is a nice initiative.
Some of my Propositions for 2023
In this post I have shared just a few of my goals related to the Hive blockchain.
One of the aspects I like most about Hive is its dynamism and continuous evolutionary process.
Hive is not static but is constantly evolving and I never get bored on Hive!
One of my passions is blockchain-based games and there are many game projects under development on Hive's blockchain and expected to become playable during 2023.
Another goal/purpose I would like to achieve in 2023 is to be able to invest and be able to play all the games built and developed on the Hive blockchain!
As a final resolution for this new year, I would like to post and interact on more communities to increase my knowledge of the Hive user ecosystem.

Nuovo Anno e Nuovi Hive obbiettivi da raggiungere! + Il mio Hive Power Up
Nel momento in cui inizio a scrivere questo post mancano meno di 2 ore alla fine del primo giorno dell'anno 2023.
Il primo giorno dell'anno è stato un giorno molto bello perchè l'ho trascorso in famiglia con le persone a me più care.
Il primo giorno dell'anno è anche un giorno in cui si fanno i bilanci dell'anno trascorso e si fissano gli obiettivi per l'anno nuovo.
L'anno 2022 è stato un anno triste per l'intera umanità perchè è stato l'anno in cui è iniziata la guerra tra Russia e Ucraina.
La storia dovrebbe insegnare a non ripetere gli errori del passato ma l'uomo ha dimostrato ancora una volta di avere la memoria corta.
La centralizzazione del potere politico ed economico ha spesso portato ad eventi nefasti e terribili in passato.
La guerra in Ucraina è l'ennesima dimostrazione di quanto sia negativo accentrare il potere nelle mani di una persona o di poche persone...
Il mondo, oggi più che mai, ha bisogno di decentralizzazione e in tutti i settori!
L'anno 2022 è stato un anno negativo anche per il mondo delle blockchains perchè il crollo di LUNA seguito dal fallimento di alcuni exchange centralizzati hanno prodotto un clima di sfiducia sull'intero settore delle blockchains.
In realtà il 2022 ha semplicemente dimostrato ancora una volta la fragilità della centralizzazione e la fragilità dei progetti con un basso livello di decentralizzazione.
Ho scoperto il mondo delle blockchain poco meno di quattro anni fa e tra i progetti che seguo Hive è in assoluto il mio progetto blockchain preferito perchè:
- ha tante utilità
- ha aspetti unici nel panorama blockchain
- non ha proprietari e ha un alto livello di decentralizzazione.
Fissare degli obiettivi è sempre il primo passo per raggiungerli e su Hive ho una visione di medio lungo termine e per questo motivo ho sempre fissato degli obiettivi di crescita e ho sempre condiviso i miei progressi con cadenza mensile nel mio Hive blog.
Nell'anno 2023 vorrei cercare di aumentare il mio peso sulla blockchain di Hive e per farlo devo continuare ad aumentare il quantitativo di HP in mio possesso.
Da quando sono su Hive non ho mai fatto power down e il mio prossimo obiettivo è di acquisire lo status di Orca.
Non sarà un obiettivo facile da raggiungere e quasi certamente richiederà un periodo di tempo superiore ad un anno per essere raggiunto.
Scrivere e pubblicare contenuti sulla blockchain di Hive e interagire con gli altri utenti di Hive sono attività che mi piace fare.
Mi piace molto anche investire e giocare sui giochi costruiti e sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive e sono molto contento che il numero degli Hive games sia in continuo aumento.
Anche se non sarà facile raggiungere un quantitativo superiore a 55K HP, sarà allo stesso tempo un obiettivo divertente e stimolante e il tempo che ci vorrà sarà comunque tempo ben speso!

2023: Obiettivi Secondari
Sulla blockchain di Hive sono davvero tante le attività che è possibile fare e di conseguenza sono anche tanti gli obiettivi che è possibile fissare.
Uno degli obiettivi che non ho mai raggiunto nel corso del 2022 è di riusciere a pubblicare almeno un post al giorno in un intervallo di tempo di un mese.
Mi piacerebbe raggiungere questo obiettivo almeno una volta durante l'anno 2023.
Questo potrebbe sembrare un obiettivo facile da raggiungere ma invece non lo è perchè ho spesso tanti impegni di lavoro che producono una forte diminuzione del tempo libero che ho a disposizione.
Ad esempio negli ultimi giorni dell'anno 2022 ho avuto davvero poco tempo a disposizione e in 9 giorni ho pubblicato solo due post.
La mia media di pubblicazione degli ultimi 5 mesi è di circa 15 post al mese.

- Settembre 2022: 16 post pubblicati
- Ottobre 2022: 17 post pubblicati
- Novembre 2022: 13 post pubblicati
- Dicembre 2022: 15 post pubblicati
La costanza nella pubblicazione sarà un elemento importante per il raggiungimento del mio obiettivo relativo ai token HP e spero di riuscire ad aumentare la media dei post pubblicati nel corso del 2023.

Su Hive ogni primo del mese è il Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) e ogni mese cerco sempre di partecipare a questa bella iniziativa.
Nel corso del 2022 ho partecipato 9 volte su 12 all'iniziativa HPUD.
Nel corso del 2023 mi piacerebbe fare 12/12!

Questa mattina prima di uscire di casa per andare a festeggiare il primo dell'anno con i miei familiari ho fatto un Power Up di 782 HP.
Se anche tu come me credi nel potenziale della blockchain di Hive e hai una visione di medio lungo periodo dovresti partecipare ogni primo del mese al Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa.
Propositi per il 2023
In questo post ho condiviso solo alcuni dei miei obiettivi collegati alla blockchain di Hive.
Uno degli aspetti che più mi piace di Hive è il suo dinamismo e il suo continuo processo evolutivo.
Hive non è statica ma è in continua evoluzione e io su Hive non mi annoio mai!
Una delle mie passioni sono i giochi basati su blockchain e ci sono tanti progetti di giochi in fase di sviluppo sulla blockchain di Hive e che dovrebbero diventare giocabili nel corso del 2023.
Un altro obiettivo/proposito che vorrei raggiungere nel 2023 è quello di riuscire ad investire e riusciere a giocare a tutti i giochi costruiti e sviluppati sulla blockchain di Hive!
Come ultimo proposito per questo nuovo anno mi piacerebbe pubblicare e interagire su più comunità per aumentare la mia conoscenza dell'ecosistema di utenti di Hive.
