A non-Hive approach to promoting new features built on Hive should be considered when we are talking about features that directly improve the user experience on other chains.
A good example would be the #VSC that will allow anyone to send and receive #Bitcoin with 0 fees, near instantly, in a completely decentralized manner providing a superior alternative to #LightningNetwork.
On top of internal Hive promotion that is a given, a new approach should be added on top, that is not focused on promoting Hive, rather promoting inside the paradigm of the existing Bitcoin ecosystem as a Bitcoin feature.
The Hive utilization being in the backend.
This would work to sidestep the possible rejection of tech due to shallow and tribal attitude present in the Bitcoin (and other) communities that will undoubtedly be present in a nontrivial amount.
Branding and promotion should reflect this approach.
To put it more bluntly, we should literally just outright claim features like this are revolutionizing Bitcoin use. Not present it as a Hive feature outwards but rather a Bitcoin feature.
So we can come up to any non-maxi Bitcoiner and show what this tech is doing, not for Hive, but rather for Bitcoin.
Youre not promoting yourself... youre making features for "them".
