Hello everyone I am back with another battle mage secret challenge post. I don't want to reveal anything before the post but let me reveal one strategy that I have used in this particular battle and that is demoralize. The opponent used thorns strategy which was also not bad. These two strategies are suggested in the battle mage secrets post of Splinterlands.
Anyway, I would like to invite you to my previous week's post, "Battle Mage Secrets: Batteling with Unprotected Ruleset" Stay tuned to understand the full strategy that tried in this battle.
Battle Rules
- Melee Mayhem ruleset: This is clear that every melee monster can attack in this ruleset that's why I had early preparation to tackle the melee attack monster of the opponent.
- Up Close & Personal ruleset: The first rule is melee mayhem and the second is this one so it is clear that the enemy would set the team with melee monsters. And here you can easily beat the opponent by seeing these two rules and that is exactly what I have done. This is also the featured ruleset of this post.
This battle has a 29 mana cost/cap. Water splinter was disabled in this battle which means fire, earth, life, death, and dragon were available.
My Battle Line Up
Malric Inferno is the summoner that I used in this battle and this is an important summoner for the melee attack monsters because it adds +1 melee attack to all melee monsters.
- First Position:Taken living lava here and I have a level 5 living lava monster with shield and rust abilities. Also, it has good health, attacks, and armor so perfect for the 1st position.
- Second Position: The disintegrator is here with a demoralize ability also there is a melee mayhem rule so this is nice to get double benefits.
- Third Position: I have taken Scorch Fiend at third and it's a 0-mana legendary monster in Fire Team.
- Fourth Position: I have level 6 Flame Monkey which I have used here. The good thing is this is just one mana monster with one attack, good health, and repair ability.
- Fifth Position: War chaang is the perfect monster that has both ranged and melee attacks. One more thing is it has retaliate ability. It is like two card benefits in a single card.
- Sixth Position: The reason behind taking antoid platoon here is its shield ability. Only melee attack monsters are allowed in this battle which means a shield ability card can protect from sneak melee monsters.
