What Is GHAWG?
#GHAWG is short for "God's Hog: A Watchful Guardian." This fictional story tells how ►David Guardia◄[8], a courier and ►business◄[9] owner from ►Bayonne, New Jersey◄[10], US moved into the next phase of his life after spending the final ten years of his ailing father's life helping him.

Once we were in Chapel Hill, I let Sanjay & Lionel lead Felix Legion; after all, this is their turf. We followed the signs leading us to UNC. As we rode slowly through the town people were staring at us as if we came from space.

🏍️ Now that ►Felix Legion◄[12] is in Chapel Hill, home of the most famous campus of the ►University of North Carolina◄[13], ►The Kids◄[14] take on a greater role in the story. It started as soon as David Guardia let them take the lead as they rolled into town.
7️⃣6️⃣4️⃣ ►[2025-March-24 00:12:48]◄
On reaching the main entrance to UNC, we were challenged on our identities. Sanjay&Lionel presented their IDs. When asked about us, Sanjay took it from there.
"These are the riding companions we met before we reached Sturgis."

🏍️ It's understandable that Security at ►UNC◄[15] is asking people to show identification; that's Security's job. It seems that news gets around because Security had heard about what happened earlier at ►The Dogemart◄[16] in the (fictional) town of ►Bolivion, Virginia◄[17], US.

"So you're not the people who shot up The Dogemart a little while ago?" asked one of the security guards.
"Not only did we not shoot up The Dogemart, we're survivors," said Lionel, before he motioned to me and my left hand.

🏍️ Apparently there was an APB (All-Points Bulletin) made to find anyone connected to the ►mass shooting◄[18] which took place at the (fictional) store called The Dogemart. Felix Legion fits that description. No one wants to be associated with criminals, especially murderers. With Felix Legion at UNC, the school needed to make sure the people riding with ►Sanjay Rampersad◄[19] and ►Lionel Odunsi◄[20] aren't the criminal type.

Slowly I approached Sanjay&Lionel and removed my glove. I showed the security guard both sides of my left hand and the tampons keeping the hand from bleeding out.
"Get that thing out of my face," the guard ordered; I complied.

🏍️ Rather than simply taking their word for it or going to videotape to prove their role in the mass shooting at The Dogemart in Bolivion, Sanjay Rampersad had the most graphic proof of their role as victims: the ►maimed left palm◄ of David Guardia.

Although Security said The Kids were OK, they weren't home free. A series of phone calls were made to comply with security protocols. We ended up being interviewed by high-level administrators. Bad publicity was their concern.

🏍️ Once Security accepted the identities of everyone in Felix Legion and their role as mass shooting victims, they were all passed off to university administrators. As one of the most famous institutions of higher learning in the nation-- courtesy of their basketball and (American) football programs-- they needed to make sure there was no blowback from the news generated by the arrival of mass shooting victims, two of which were members of the UNC student body.
7️⃣6️⃣8️⃣ ►[2025-March-28 00:10:33]◄
Included in the interrogation team were police from both Bolivion and Chapel Hill. As eyewitnesses to the mass shooting at The Dogemart, we had to provide our sides of the incident. After giving our reports, we were free to go.

🏍️ Not to be left out, local police and their counterparts from the (fictional) town of Bolivion needed to take care of business before they could go back to their respective headquarters and Felix Legion could go about its business. In this case, it was making sure that Sanjay Rampersad and Lionel Odunsi were brought safely to campus. However, once this happens, the composition of Felix Legion changes. Without The Kids, Felix Legion is simply The Iowans (the 4 natives plus David Guardia by marrying ►Rhonda Bella◄[21]).

By the time Security allowed us entry into campus, we were met by all kinds of people. Included were media outlets for not just the campus newspaper but also local and regional mass media. A few even recognized us from Chicago.

🏍️ Dealing with security and the police is enough to make 1 minute feel like 1 day, so you would think Felix Legion would catch a break once police business was over. But no-- now Felix Legion has to deal with media attention, and that is bound to turn into a circus if it isn't handled properly.
Story Arc So Far
Felix Legion finally reached the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It took a while for the group to gain entry onto the campus. Although The Kids, Sanjay Rampersad (Felix Legion name Triumph) and Lionel Odunsi )FL name Quartermaster) were allowed entry onto campus grounds, the rest of Felix Legion needed to justify their presence with The Kids.
On top of that, news of the mass shooting at The Dogemart in the (fictional) town of Bolivion, Virginia, US made its way to UNC. This means that the arrival of Felix Legion had become a police matter not only for police in Chapel Hill but also the (fictional) town of Bolivion. Since police were involved, UNC administrators wanted to ensure that there were no adverse effects from having Felix Legion on campus.
Once campus administrators were satisfied that UNC was in the clear and the police obtained the eye-witness reports from the survivors of that hideous event, Felix Legion was permitted entry on campus. Before helping The Kids get settled in and then bidding them adieu, however, Felix Legion had to go through a gauntlet of media attention from all sorts of media ranging from national outlets down to campus radio.
