2022-July-15 is the 2nd LEO PUD. I made sure to qualify for it this time. Will LPUD become a regular event? Will I do LPUD again?

Only in recent months did I drop back to receiving my earnings in a 50/50 Split between HBD and HP/LP. However, as a new Hiver and Leo, my priority had been powering up every scrap of HIVE and LEO I had in order to build up Voting Power on both platforms. For that reason, I was in the habit of powering up HIVE and LEO every day.
This may be why I hadn't understood why there was such a fuss over Power Up Day for HIVE at the first of each month.
Even if I wanted to participate in Hive PUD, I never had enough HIVE at one time to power up.
I'm not saying I'll never participate in a Hive PUD, but it's just not on my radar.
Then Came LEO PUD
Last month-- by accident-- I discovered LeoFinance's version of PUD. It was scheduled for the 15th of each month, and I had missed the inaugural LPUB by a few hours. Even had I wanted to take part, I lacked the 200 LEO to participate; I had well over 100 liquid LEO to stake, but not the 200 LEO to qualify.
2nd LPUD Is Here-- Did I Make It in Time?
According to this transaction using HE Explorer, I powered up 200 LEO on 2022-July-15 @ 20:25:33 GMT. Taking time zones into account, it looks as if I qualified for LPUD. I'll leave it for the Leos running LPUD to determine if I qualified or not.
Why Participate in LPUD?
Although the idea of PUD still escapes me generally, here are some guesses as to why a tribe-level PUD is a good deal:
Generate buzz
No matter how active a community is, it can always use greater participation from its membership. With financial markets dealing with bears for the foreseable future (blood in the streets or no), communities need all the activity they can generate.
Easier qualification
It's not so easy to accumulate HIVE, but Layer 2 tokens are easier to stack through consistent engagement. That's how it's been for me, anyway. Your experiences may differ.
Increase value of the Layer 2 Token
The more Layer 2 tokens are staked, the greater the value of the Layer 2 token. This is true for LEO, and it should be true for any other Layer 2 token on Hive blockchain.
Increase Voting Power
With greater Layer 2 Token Power comes greater Layer 2 Upvotes. This is a win-Win-WIN-WIN situation for everyone.
Will I Do LPUD Again? We Will See...
It depends on how well this one goes for me as well as on how much LEO I have available at that time.
However things turn out for me, I will be staking LEO as often as I can. The question now becomes whether I do it daily, at least once a month on LPUD, or as often as my liquid LEO permits.
Just My Two Sats
Although I barely qualified for the inaugural LeoFinance LPUD in June 2022, I made sure to qualify for the 2nd LPUD in July 2022. In principla it should work the same as Hive PUD, only LPUD takes place on the 15th day of the month.
Depending on how well LPUD goes during the middle of 2022, it could set a trend for other tribal-level communities as well. If anything, LPUD generates buzz at a time when financial bear markets are driving people away from social blogging and toward social (or solitary) substance abuse. Qualifying for LPUD is also easier for many people than qualifying for Hive PUD. At the very least, LPUD increases notonly the value of the LEO token but also the Voting Power of all involved.
