Yesterday, I had to drive around the city a bit longer than usual. The reason I shall reserve for another story. The good thing when I drive is, there's time for listening to music. I don't often do this when on my PC because I am focused on other things. And I tend to forget.
But my radio, as they sing in various songs, in various languages, remains my true friend in the car. I'm usually tuned to Radio 1 Rock, the one with the deep announcer's voice of an actor no longer among us. I have noticed there's another radio ran by the same company, Bg Radio, since the ads the run are identical, and both stations advertise the same mobile radio app as one created by them.
There's news almost every time the clock hits a round hour. Do you say round hour or full hour? Anyway.
Imagine my Huh moment when I heard the first news for the hour being what most of you already know. Elon Musk / Tesla buying 1.5 billion of USD worth of BTC, and Bitcoin hitting a new All Time High (third time this week/day they said, I don't remember which).
Well, that's a bit redundant since it's normal for you to hit ATHs all the way to the peak. Each step up is an All Time High. Isn't it? Or do we measure the major peaks only? That's not really important. It's just a way for measure lovers to measure things (aye, it helps a bunch, I don't deny that).
The important piece is, crypto (and yeah, they also said crypto in general) making it to the MainStream Media of a back out corner of the world once again which obviously requires some extra special news.
Ain't this one such a news? Attention grabbed. For only 1.5 billion you have the MSM's attention easy-peasy.
It might be a temporary thing but...still, a huge step. Excited to see where it goes.
But at the same time, I remember the words that said something like...
"In retrospect, it was inevitable."
ā an Elon Musk tweet or something
Wasn't it?
There's certainly an amount of inevitability in the concept of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies which is not absolute, since nothing is. But it happened. And it's happening.
