The 12-month National home price index increased again in the United States. According to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller National Home Price Index, the 12-month increase in August 2022 was 12.99% compared to the one reported for July 2022 which was 15.77%.

This shows continuous deceleration of the home price increase. The index is decreasing fast

The index in August 2022 was 303.76. July 2022's index was 307.45, so the month to month change was -1.3%. In August 2021, the index was 268.84
