Hive is vast platform with so many good content creators, investors and even down to amazing authors who take time to engage well and not spam the blockchain. Becoming known would mean you doing the extras and getting comfortable with it to upgrade to the next level.
I've seen how many people stick to the same style, same format and everything they do since they started on Hive still doing it even after spending more than a year on the blockchain.
I can't say I don't have a few habits I haven't upgraded on here on Hive but I've definitely grown from where I started and a lot has changed for me since I learnt how to read and learn from others on ways to be a better Hive user.

The journey to becoming known on Hive as a user is a long one and it is important to note that it isn't a fast one but rather, it should be a steady one. A journey where you don't fake things, a journey where you are being intentional about your set goals and one of those goals is to, See improvements no matter how little.
From my few years here on Hive, I've learnt of different ways (hints) to grow my audience on my content by watching how others go about theirs and also brainstorming on new ideas and strategy to make mine different. Having a unique idea is a huge boost to helping you grow your visibility on Hive.
Here are some hints to grow your audience (visibility).
Have it in mind that they don't work like magic, you'll need to keep at it and even do more to achieve the visibility growth that you need. I tried it, it is working for me and I have five hints to share, I hope it will be of help to someone.
Creating quality & original contents.
Not everyone who joins Hive can write or write well but with practice and reading from others, it gets easier. I didn't just start writing when I joined Hive. After an introduction, I took some time to watch how the others did on the platform. I admired how original and quality their contents were, I thought it'd be difficult to do like them but then, I learnt that simply sharing what you think is original and you should go for it. Do not copy what others say or what you see on the internet, tell us what you see, how you feel and why you think or feel that way... About anything!
Use catchy titles and images.
An image I designed for a post
This one is something I've made a part of me, I'm not so good with it yet but I know I add extra efforts in coming up with my post titles and even more efforts on the images I use especially when I have to design something out. Using your own images would be more awesome and you get to bring visibility to originality and what you can do but when you can't find original image, making good designs is a sure bet for catching the eyes of more audience to your content.
Engaging with other contents & your own content.
This is the most important hint for bringing visibility to your Hive account. When you engage with other users on Hive, you are letting them know that an account with your name exists! You don't just leave comments, you leave comments that would make them want to go check your profile. They should have a thought like "What a comment, what would this user writing be like then?", a curious thought. Not just that, reply to your audience when they come leaving comments on your own contents, it retains the visibility you have built.
Join contests, initiatives and discord channels.
There are a lot of active contests on Hive that would not only give you prompts for easy writing but also bring some visibility to your name on Hive. Initiatives like the Hive zealy campaign and rally car zealy campaign are good ones to be part of, you'll even get to put yourself out there on Web2 talking about Web3 and increasing your knowledge while you're at it. A lot of discord channels are active too, being active in some would help you get closer to users in a more sociable way and improve your visibility on Hive.
Trusting the process and being consistent.
Like I've said before, you won't become popular so easily even when you do everything I've said but with consistency and believing in your efforts, you'll see improvements little by little and in a steady pace to get greater results. Just make sure to have fun while you're at it, I always say "Hive is not a work for me, I find it very fun here", that's a good start.
