Saving is a very good thing, it is one of the vital ways to attaining financial freedom, whether the purpose of your saving is for emergency/rainy days as we most commonly refer to them as, or you are simply saving for some future expenses, it is a wise path to take. Not all budgeting method works for everyone, feel free to go for the one that works best for you without feeling sorry about it. To meet your goal faster, try to set a deadline for it, with a deadline you wouldn't think twice about meeting your saving target all the time. Do not frustrate yourself to the point of not being able to live, let your target be easy for you to meet up with.
