I heard that said before and after years of experience I feel it really is true. "Hard" yes, but not impossible!
The more my trading journey unfolds the more I long for a pressure valve. A place for some self-therapy to soothe my own mind within the storms of trading. To make sense of the market's moves and my decisions, to calm my raving ego when things went wrong, and to have an electronic journal of sorts for channeling my euphoria and frustrations into, reminding me about what I learned along the way so that I can improve further. A place to crystallize my obsession with the crypto markets into something useful and lasting.
And since this is the internet age, I figured I might as well share that trading diary with the community, making videos talking to myself while raving through my nerdy charts, explaining to myself why I did what and what signals I have missed.
I am striving to make better decisions, to see what works and to see what doesn't, documenting my reasoning for myself. To inch ever closer to cracking the code of the markets, honing in on patterns and structure for a true understanding of price behavior rather than relying on lagging indicators that seem to be everywhere in TA these days - indicators that don't seem to get traders the edge they are looking for despite all the promises on youtube and elsewhere.
I fully believe the markets' behavior can be decoded and actually understood; that it's not purely random movements and that we can find a way to use that understanding to our advantage in the long run as traders, on the basis of probability.

It's not my aim to convince you of this odd algamation of strategies that I seem to be developing these days, but rather to help myself understand what it is I am actually doing and why. To gain more experience, to build on my strengths and to overcome my weaknesses through documentation and self-reflection.
To learn to trust myself in the enigma of complexity that is the crypto market, with its wild swings and peculiar pattern dynamics.
And if - along the way - this diary of me talking to myself can help other traders out there, I'd be thrilled of course!

I have seen it work and I will not let it go until I have figured it out to a degree that truly staisfies me to the core.
