Engagement on Leofinance, and in extension, on Hive communities, has been taken off the cliff as a new interface came through to increase and provide the necessary tools needed to skyrocket engagement means and tools. Engagement is one of the core dealings on hive blockchain, and to an extent, it can be tiring, not just because users don't want to engage but also because the motivation that comes from both the communities that they would engage in and the interface's features is lacking, so users succumb to being more like a one-time active member or engager in a community.
Seeing that the atmosphere of hive has it that there should be continual engagement from each user, not just necessarily because of the rewards that come through but also because of its effect on increasing the user base of the community and, by extension, the hive blockchain at large, A look into the number of monthly active users on each of the communities on Hive, the number of people that come in as visitors, the number of comments underneath a post, and the various engagement levels on Hive shows that there is a need for an upgrade on all the various engagement patterns and channels. But what if the users are willing first of all from their minds, but the necessary motivation, which comes in the form of features that they would use as a final step to engage, isn't available? This now boils down to what could be done to enhance it.
Dating back to the time when the new interface that comes from Leofinance was launched and a look into the various features added, there is no doubt that there was a massive increase in the various engagement patterns and routes. Not just that there was an increase in the level of engagement, but also the activator that worked in the background to increase this was the difference. The thread feature came through as the activator that created the difference, as users don't just interact or thread on different topics but also thread freely on a free open space with no fewer bugs, fewer characters on each thread, and every threader having the ability to freely express oneself regardless.
The Leaderboard Space
[a]
POST ENGAGEMENT;
This is one of the badges provided by the leaderboard space, and as such, it is the first that comes when one opens the leaderboard space. This has to do with the ranking of users that published more articles than others, be it on the Leofinance community or not, but they must be using the Leofinance front-end interface. With the increasing use of the Leofinance front-end interface in the publishing of posts on a regular basis, the one with the highest number of posts comes in as the leader in that group.
[b]
THREAD ENGAGEMENT;
On this space, though there is lots of competition, the one with the highest number of threads, be it any topic at all, comes up as the top-ranked. This space, just like other leaderboard spaces, is open to everyone. One can literally thread on any topic at all, and that on a consistent basis; from there, the number of threads increases, and boom, there comes the top at this badge.

HIGHEST VOTES ALLOTTED:
This is yet another BADGE on the leaderboard space that sees one just being at the top if the requirements are kept. On this space in contest of the top level, the user with the highest number of upvotes be at at the thread level, comments or normal posts done provided it is through the Leofinance front-end was the posts or comments done. This being the easiest badge to get, voting seems like a pretty low-stress task to be done to emerge at the top of the leaderboard space.

THREADSTORMS:
Threadstorm is one of the engagement spaces that won a badge for itself in that it actually takes more than the normal threading of fewer threads to create a threadstorm. Most of the threadstorms created according to standardization have it that there must not be less than five threads as a form of points. To an extent, most of the threadstorms are much more interactive, and as such, more avenues have been created for one to engage through.

COMMENT:
On this leaderboard space, the method of engagement has to come through comments underneath a thread, post, or threadstorm.
The competition space
Now that there is a competition on engagement levels on Leofinance as various forms of engagement badges are provided, adding to the fact that it isn't a one community thing since other communities are added to the interface, the race has just begun.
Notable enough is the fact that there is always a change in each of the leaderboard badges, as literally everyone is on the run to increase their quotas of engagement levels, which appear in all the leaderboard spaces. This, in the long run, increases users activity on each of the communities on hive through the Leofinance interface as users spend more time on the interface and likewise on the communities, as if they aren't posting content, they are commenting on posts, if they aren't commenting, they are upvoting; and several other engagement channels.
A look also at the user base activity activity, exploring more on users finding more time and creating engagement topics so as to boost their engagement levels on several of the leaderboard badges, gives one the intuition that the users now understand what it means to engage in all the communities on the hive blockchain. Threading is turning up for this, as it has provided the assistance for users to climb to the top for each of the badges.
Attention is also drawn to the aspect of an increase in monthly active users, which is another case study to consider. Judging from the fact that the number of monthly active users increased, it wasn't just one community alone but also the communities that had themselves represented by their active users.
Suffice to say that the emergence of the leaderboard feature has created a competitive spirit among all hivers that use the Leofinance interface as their gateway to navigating communities and activities on Hive blockchain.
Thanks for stopping by, friends; do have a nice day.
