For me the benefits are obvious to these developers to use hive as a source of information and promotion. Especially with @financeleo looking so much more attractive now it can give new start ups a great launch pad.
We have the majority of the top tech firms worldwide based in our tiny little country for a variety of reasons. A lot of the reasons would be the same for crypto based projects to use hive as a home base for their communication.
Knowledgeable and active community. We have a solid base of people familiar with a lot of the concepts being talked about which can be a huge milestone to adoption for people coming in cold to a new project. It is much easier and cost efficient to grow something new from a stable base rather than build a new base from scratch.
Rewards for using the site. These might not be huge but if a group uses leo or hive to post regular updates and information on the project they will earn rewards for doing so. These rewards can be used to incentivize more interaction without costing them anything other than time.
The power of community.
On the hive blockchain they can create a whole new community around their project and use their rewards to build a network effect for that project. Offer incentives/ votes for people asking questions or giving feedback. Create contests for people to produce marketing material of content about their project. Look at what the leo community has done with the RUNE token. Half the people here have bought it from the information posted to the site by our hive community.
-The chain itself.
Hive is fast, free and immutable for storage of content. They can create a permanent portfolio of content without fear of being deleted overnight or losing all of the time and effort that they have put in so far. There account and community is theirs to utilize and not some corporation that could decide to erase the content in one single go.
-Room to expand.
While they might join hive to promote their token and piggy-back of community support. For anybody paying attention, they will find out that hive can do it all and do it better than the other chains. They can create communities, tribes, games, defi, nft offerings almost anything that you could think of if they wanted to expand their brand and project into new and diverse blockchain areas. Fast and free is going to play a huge part in the crypto landscape over the next couple of years as other chains get stuck in huge fees and unusable systems.
-The actual community.
We are a great bunch of people who want to help others grow and bring them into the system. This is decentralization at it's finest as we will all help any new projects to survive and grow within HIVE. We have had to do it the hard way and have been doing it by ourselves so would love to see some big teams come in to boost our profile. We want to see them here and will engage with them which will be a lot more powerful than medium ar any other existing site that is out there right now.
