One of the first things I learned when I joined Steemit four-plus years ago, was the tight connection between Discord and the blockchain in general. Soon after joining Steemit (Which is now HIVE) I was introduced to the Peace Abundance and Liberty server in Discord, and this is where I learned much of the information that I needed to get me where I am today. This server went on to have its own token. If you are interested in joining, you can do so -HERE- I was not aware of the other ways, however, that Discord could be used to generate income for someone that chose to do so. Setting up a server offers several options that not only individuals, but organizations could use to promote, sell, and either affiliate or franchise their products. Without going into too much detail, as I am currently developing my own Discord channel, and do not necessarily want to give out everything I am currently doing, suffice it to say, a person could find any multitude of uses to set up Discord servers for.
Games
The HIVE Blockchain offers several DAPPS that are game-related. Whether your interest is brewing beer, as you can in CrytoBrewMaster or trying your hand at a game of poker, there are quite a few options already on HIVE. Just think of how much this ecosystem has yet to grow! Did I mention Spliterlands? Yeah well, Wizards and stuff. We even have City builder (Going to be checking that out next...)
Art
HIVE is not only innovating in finance and blockchain technology, but it is also a way for up-and-coming content creators to get a foot in the door early in the decentralized crypto space. Of course, everyone knows about 3Speak, but how many of you were aware we have an actual digital art gallery on HIVE? Well, we do! The NFT Showroom is a place where Artists can not only display, but sell their art for crypto! I mean really, what more could a person ask for in a platform? Whether you are a blogger, a video creator, a digital artist, or a "Tweeter," someone who likes to "Buzz" as we say on HIVE, really, this platform has something for everyone.
Sports & Fitness
Recently my wife, @queenbee1977, got involved with HIVE. If you would like, you can read her introduction post -HERE- she is great, and she works her butt off running her company Queen Bee Cleaning. She has not only started a blog of her own, which will earn her crypto in the form of HIVE, she has also downloaded the Actifit app onto her phone. This will allow her to make posts about her daily routine and exercise schedule, then earn crypto that way as well! If you are like me, you are more into managing a fantasy Soccer League, as you can in Rabona than you are actually exercising, but that is my point, from Finance posts like we have here on LEO, to imagining being a soccer star, there are many ways that the HIVE blockchain can earn someone a personal income, beyond just trading on charts.
