In 16 days, we will be saying a very happy and long-awaited goodbye to the 33rd Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Gary Gensler. Gary has been the weapon fashioned against the crypto space for the past 3 or 4 years now. It was under his ruling that the SEC sued XRP (Ripple) for an unregistered security offering, which held down the process of XRP from 2021 till last when XRP won the lawsuit against the SEC after XRP won the lawsuit its price skyrocketed for a day a dropped or dipped back down but as faith would have it XRP's progress was delayed but not denied because the price of XRP has been impressive so far and am expecting it to do so well in this next Bull run.
In my opinion, Gary Gensler's resignation is good and bullish news for the crypto space because he has been a huge hater of the crypto space and tried his best to delay the crypto space's Progress, although he didn't succeed as he expected. When Gary resigns, I hope his successor will take a more balanced approach to fostering innovation while potentially creating a more crypto-friendly environment. BYE BYE
