Another landmark
I first joined the Steem blockchain on August 1st of 2017. It seems like a century ago. The beginning was... weird and hard. I had great expectations, saw myself getting 300 USD rewards on posts in my dreams... But, of course I was wrong. The beginning is just a struggle you have to get through. Rewards of 0.07 USD per post, it is just part of growing on here, right. Nobody gets the jackpot after the first dime, I guess. But, I stuck with it, kept on posting, and kept on searching for my style, my signature. And eventually I grew an audience, and that audience is getting bigger and bigger, every single day. For which I am very thankful. I appreciate every single vote, even the smallest of them. As my saying is, every little bit counts!
Profited from opportunities
When Hive split from the Steem blockchain, I decided to go all in on Hive, and some were hesitant at that point, because at some point 1 Steem was worth 4 Hive, but I saw the value in that, and started the power down of Steem, and got an amazing opportunity to grow my Hive account 4 times faster at that time. Even when Hive was at 0.08 USD, I didn't hesitate. And for that, I am even more grateful right now. Because nobody will take away those cheap Hive from me, anymore. They are in my account, because I took a very good decision. I also powered down all Blurt that was airdropped to me, before the real downfall of Blurt, and exchanged it for Hive. All decisions that turned out to be moneymakers in the long run.
It's a long game
For me, there is no short game in Hive, it is a long game, and I will keep on posting, curating and staking them Hive as long as I can, and feel comfortable with it. In my opinion, the short game is never a good idea when it comes to crypto. So remember people why you're here, you are in it for the long game, just like in life!
Sincerely,
