If I can remember vividly, it was some weeks ago that I updated about the effects of the Industrial action in Ilorin metropolis and Nigeria at large because the industrial action spreads across all Federal universities in each state in Nigeria with some state universities included in the Industrial action. I was able to talked about the economy effect of the Industrial action on those running businesses, the motorists and the likes. I laid much emphasis on bike men who are into transporting students from places to places, comparing their take home since the Industrial action started.
What are the things to expect since the Industrial action has been suspended?
Some days ago the Industrial action was suspended after some series of meetings between the FED and some top ASUU officials led by the chairman of the action group in person of Prof.Osodeke with interference of the Sen.Gbajabiamila acting as the intermediary between the FED and ASUU group. So as the news broke some days ago after the mutual agreement has been met, the news put smiles on the faces of many most especially the business owners and those into transportation business.
Economy in Ilorin metropolis will come back to normal. The normalcy is due to the Industrial action being suspended. This would make students to fall and that will improve businesses in all ramifications. Finally, in the next couple of days things are expected to come back to normal which will definitely have economy impact in Ilorin city and Nigeria at large.
