As it stands, it's now obvious that we are heading towards cashless policy in Nigeria since the old naira note if N1000 and N500 stopped to be legal tender. Meanwhile, cashless policy is the process whereby the means of transaction is being done by either by bank transfer via bank mobile application or through the USSD code. This is the important part that we should not fail to ignore that the numbers of payment for goods and services have increased such that too many traffic isn't allowing the network providers for these transactions to be accomplished.
Why bad network is one of the major reasons for the aggrieved citizens.
The main issue here is, no one is going against most of our economy transaction going cashless but the network providers do not encourage this act to be accomplished easily and properly. Sincerely, ever since the cashless policy is being introduced, crime rates have reduced. Presently, during this exercise we hardly heard if kidnapping, corruption, embezzlement and so on.
Again, sincerely the policy is yielding positive results but only thing left is if the network providers improve on their Network provision. The issue we are facing and which is what is pissing many people up is that our attention have been shifted cashless policy but there's no good network to accomplish this. That's why most business owners do not trust people paying bank transfer because a lot of them have been scammed or faced difficulty in unsuccessful bank transfer.
