Everytime Crypto prices go up the people that are active in trading it and discussing talk about how "this is it"
we are going to change the world!!!!
Well I have to say stop!
We are in 1999 and the great tech crash all over again.
Back in 1999 someone had the amazing idea to launch pets.com
they saw the future in online delivery of items for your pets.
this company went out of business in less than 2 years after raising money and being a darling of wall street.
Fast forward to 2020, we know have Chewy.com the exact same concept and they are holding their own in a world that Amazon.com dominates.
What is the difference?
From a business model they are the same company and concept.
The only difference is Pets.com was 20 years too early.
So how does this apply to Crypto?
We are in 1999. A ton of hype and the tech and ease of use is still 20 years out.
Now a bunch of you will say I am wrong as tech moves faster. I will give you this that we maybe only 10 years out from making blockchain tech easy to use but then we still need the average person to use it.
The current Phones (iphone/Andriod) in everyone's hand made companies like Chewy.com have the ability to be successful but these type of devices have been around for more than 10 years.
So we get the crypto version of a Wallet that is as easy to use as an iPhone it will still take another decade for mass adoption.
So take some money off the table if you need to. It is 1999 and Pets.com is here!
