Hi and welcome back to my blog!

Once in a while, you find a person, place or thing that completely changes the way you see the world. And Hive for me was that drastic change, it helped me connect to many people across the world with different cultures, languages and ways of dealing with their normal stuff. But we all have this common platform our beloved, Hive.
I found this place by accident, I wanted to try some blockchain games and splinterlands was one of the first games on the list of results; the rest was history.
Today we are celebrating the 3rd anniversary of Hive. I wish all of you a Happy birthday since you all are part of this journey.
To celebrate this day a special contest is organized by @theycallmedan and he wants us to join him on a special powerup day. I know powerup day is first day of every month but since this is a special day we will be celebrating it with powering up our HIVE.
Here are the rules in case anyone still wondering. Read the full post here. HivePowerBday Initiative - 100K HP Delegations in Prizes

So, I went ahead and powered up 80 HIVE earlier this morning.

I have a long-term approach and since I believe in the fundamentals of Hive and this thriving community, powering up is a great choice. It increases your upvote value. You get more influence and your vote is worth more while contributing to the governance of the chain.
Although I have been on the chain for only 1.5 years, I built some of the best connections here. A guy like me who rarely posted on Web2 social media is getting weekly posting badges from @hivebuzz is a big positive change. My writing has improved tremendously. Since, English is my 3rd language, after Hindi and Haryanavi... I was not confident in writing in English but it has changed significantly. Of course, I am still working on it but I can now articulate and write my thoughts much better than I used to in this language.
I want to give a big shout-out to communities like @indiaunited and @theterminal who helped me in immensely in this journey. #Forevergrateful
And last but not the least, I want to wish @jamerussel a very happy birthday. You are a great help and did an awesome job with the @heyhaveyamet project. Wish you all the luck and enjoy your day.
Thanks for reading...
Until next time...
