My journey in the Inleo community has been fun and amazing. I joined the community which was still Leofinance in October 2022 and since then, have been active. Leofinance only accepted content about finance and crypto then and it was very hard to think of any finance or crypto-related topics until I started getting familiar with the system.
Not long after, the microblogging idea which is known as Leothread came into existence and knowing that one could post short content just like on X and get paid in Leo tokens was exciting to me. I started making short threads and would always be paid in its native token.
My experience till now has been a roller coaster one because I enjoy the team who have always been working hard to roll in amazing updates, fixing new things like bugs while making the site easier to navigate. Late last year, the name was changed to Inleo and that was when everything changed. The Inleo is known as the "Everything App" and a community which focuses only on finance/crypto-related content became a community that accepts different topics in communities and was added to the frontend where we can choose any of them and post through the frontend.

The idea of a premium subscription also came on board. This started last year in October while I started subscribing in November and since then, it has been an amazing experience with being a premium subscriber, like making longer threads, being able to edit threads, changing the theme colour and other stuff a premium subscriber could do. Having the orange checkmark (this can be changed to different colours also) beside my profile made me feel like a bona-fide member of the community.

My experience with the amazing curators is also great. Inleo made sure to have wonderful curators who shared their responsibilities in making sure every user was curated and supported.
Some curators focus on curating from X provided you tweet your post made from the frontend by using the tags: #inleo and #hive. The ones who focus on staked-based curation where users are curated based on the amount of Leo Power and as long as they submit their posts as a comment on the Leo-Curation's account thread which is always posted daily. There are the ones who curate through threadstorm provided you post your content on thread using the tags: #outreach and #threadstorm.
Then we have the ones who curate manually by going through the community and picking amazing content that is posted through the Inleo frontend.

The community came up with another initiative in February, though I didn't participate a lot that month because I didn't get to know about it early until the end of the edition. I started fully in March and the experience was beautiful. The purpose of the monthly initiative was to help writers write daily and to avoid writer's block. Writing or blogging is not easy especially having to go through times when you don't know what to write, this initiative came about to make it easier for users to pick any topic and talk about it.
I was surprised when I won the premium subscription for the March edition and have been gifted with it this month which I am still using. I used to find those topics fun to write on except for topics I find difficult to write on. There were topics I just couldn't flow with and would go over the ones that I can relate to. Those topics helped me share personal experiences which when writing on them, takes me back memory lane.
So far, the initiative they came up with is great and has helped a lot of us get out of writer's block except for some users who do not feel like writing on some days. With this initiative, a lot of users including myself have been supported by Leo Voter and I can say, it was an amazing experience for me this month.

Another sweet experience this month is the aspect of microblogging. There was a time I was inactive on thread, one of the reasons was how unenjoyable the site was for me. I could make long-form content through the frontend but threads weren't working fine for me because of bugs. Sometimes, I can write short posts and letters would be typing by themselves and would give me a hard time when I try to erase all but would be slow.
It used to be a frustrating moment for me but this month, it was different. I could see lots of things being fixed making it smooth to type and use.
Also, there was the issue of not uploading images. When I was explained to on what to do to upload, I wasn't just getting the vibe but now, I can upload images easily especially ones I snap by myself. I feel there is still more to do to fix this issue to make it more easier.
My experience with threads this month has been one I enjoyed so well as I have mostly been on my threads.
This month of April came to be another one which I enjoyed with the monthly initiative, leothreads, navigating the site by curating content and posting through the frontend. The month has ended today and I can't wait to see the new topics for May and I am ready to do my best in the community too.
