Leofinance is progressing gradually and I believe this year will make it popular through the microblogging platform on Hive called #threads
Some days ago, I saw a post by @leogrowth opening an application for those who would want to become #ThreadsSquire and seeing the post, I knew this is a big opportunity for those that will be chosen and get applied to be a squire on Leothreads.
This is someone who devotedly attends to another person. Linking it to Threads Squire means one who is willing to be active and engage more on Threads; not just a user, but one who will gladly volunteer himself or herself to the job.
This is the reason the #Leo&Hodl contest is out again and the focus of this post is to explain why you should apply for the post before it closes.
According to the original post here, becoming a #ThreadsSquire isn't for everyone but those who have more than 5k Leo Power (Cub).
This means, to be eligible for this position, you have to follow these criteria;
You have to be a heavy threads user. You can't be a part of something you know nothing about. So, you must have been posting on threads and become an active user who is always posting and replying to comments.
You must know how the Blockchain (Hive) works. The reason is that there will be new users who would be wanting to ask questions about Hive from you. If you do not know, then you have failed in that aspect. You must understand how Hive works.
You must be willing to engage on Twitter. We all know that Twitter (Web2 social platform) has a great role in helping the progress of Leofinance. You should be able to engage and be active there also.
You aren't only focusing on the Leofinance community alone, but must explore other communities on Hive. Exploring other communities will make you see and know what is going on so that you can share with others too as we keep learning and expanding our horizon.
Lastly, you must have made the #MyLeoGoals post that was proposed last year in December.
The team are working tirelessly to make Leothreads great and strong. So, they are looking for people who would become active in engaging in threading as they have targets to reach for this year 2023 and that is to onboard 5,000 Monthly Active Users (MAUs). So, the reason to become a threads squire is to be part of the project in making it achieve its aim.
Of course, there are benefits you get when you become a threads Squire. Several initiatives are coming this year and if you must enjoy the benefits, you have to apply for the role of a threads squire to get that.
Just like I said above and from the application post, you have to be a Cub member. This means having more than 5k Leo Power already.
It will make Leofinance survive; not just to survive alone but thrives because the existence of the new UI coming soon will sprout its progress. Also, Hive will step up its game against a major Web2 platform.
If you read this post — LeoFinance, Reimagined in 2023, three principles make it look so promising and strong with the coming of the new UI. They are;
A Zero Explanation User Experience. This simply means that, instead of telling new users to make an introductory post, describing themselves, the user experience looks so similar to Twitter where, when you look at it, the person you are onboarding will know what the platform looks like. In a nutshell, no explanation is needed!
A Simple Onboarding Process (SOP). You don't need to sign up/in for Hive using your private key. The SOP will be refined and deployed to the new UI.
The Everything App Features. This is the best part of it because you will find everything you need to succeed on Hive as a whole. You can send money to your friends, you can earn while making your content and you have ownership of data. This is because Leothreads are built on a Web3, tokenized social media platform.
Post your blogs. Leothreads accepts general topics and it doesn't need to be about Leofinance alone. You can share anything and everything on the microblogging platform. Also, as a newbie who is just starting on Hive and you do not have exposure to your content, Leothreads is a great place to help you bring more people to your blog.
Engaging with your followers. This is the reason you must follow users on threads. Engage and make friends with them. Through this, you will earn from what you do daily.
Curate posts. You also earn by curating Leothreads posts. There is no limit to doing that. So, you can curate as many as you want.
Share tutorials and guides. People enjoy reading content like this as they are willing to learn something new. This will help your blog too.
I will be inviting @abdul-qudus @george-dee @mercysugar to this contest. You can participate by reading this post.
Thanks for your time on my blog.
