Happy birthday to the Hive blockchain!
It is amazing to see all the progress that we've built together on this truly decentralized community blockchain since the drama of the Justin Sun attempted steem blockchain takeover. It only seems like yesterday since I wrote this poem to tell JS exactly what I, and many others, thought of his hostile takeover.
But anyway, that is ancient history, and if it has taught us anything it's that a community of creative motivated people can always beat a wanna be dictator when acting in unison.
Moving Swiftly On
Literally as I write this blog there is a party kicking off in the SPK network discord covering the latest developments in 3speak's new tokenomic models and their Larynx miner token which will be available to claim based on a wallet snap shot that happened in January 2022.
I'm listening to it right now as @starkerz outlines the various speakers and presentations that are scheduled for the next few hours.

My Two Year Hive Journey
There have been so many activities and communities I've been involved with. Firstly, I started a creative writing community called The Ink Well which I built on steem a few months before Justin Sun decided to Join Ned in destroying our network.
So this time was a stressful one for me, migrating the community to hive only and dealing with some people who felt that we should stay on both chains. For me as owner, this wasn't an option. To be honest if you want to know why I felt that way listen to that poem I posted above 😂
I have also grown my skills in photo editing and creating digital art by taking part in the LMAC (Let's Make a Collage) community competition. I have continued writing poetry, travel blogs and the odd short story although I have pulled back from posting fiction here on hive as I am approaching mainstream publishers and literary agents about my fiction.
All in all I think the future of Hive is rosy and the sky is the limit for hive in the future of web 3.0
