Some one said if you want to learn a lot about crypto, try participating for airdrops, and that person has never been so right, because participating on airdrop tasks has widened my experience and knowledge in crypto. First of all, I became more aware of the layer 2 blockchains of Ethereum when I started doing airdrop tasks. I understood them better when I started doing tasks, because the best way to learn is through direct experience. One thing I have been learning a lot is cross chain bridging and their options. First of all, I think its unwise to use a cross chain bridging dapp that doesn’t have a support medium, like telegram and discord, and if it does, try to contact the support system for help.
So cross-chain bridging, its the act of bridging assets from one chain to another, sometimes you bridge an asset in a particular chain to another asset in another chain. Its like this, you can bridge BUSD in BNB Chain to USDC in avalanche chain. The network fee will be way lower compared to using a centralised exchange. In a centralised exchange its simple, use BUSD to buy USDC then send it to your DEX wallet choosing a particular chain. Its sometimes stressful and more expensive, because centralised exchanges charge a lot for transaction, then sending it they will charge again. And while sending to the DEX Wallet, you will need to do email verification, SMS verification and 2FA Verification. So its kinds stressful, but using a Dapp, all you need to do is choose the network you want to bridge from, choose the token you want to bridge, then choose the network you want as your bridge destination and choose the token you want to be your destination token, just like this:

You can see that I am bridging BNB from BNB Chain to USDC in polygon chain, If I like, I can choose any token, I can just click on any of the tokens there, and I will have varieties of token choices to choose from, just like this:

Now, this is less expensive because it cost about less than $1, no matter how many tokens I want to bridge, compared to using a centralised exchange and it takes less than 5 minutes to execute:

You can see, I had tested other bridges and this dapp, caught my attention, the name is router, most dapp charge a lot and take time to execute, used a bridging dapp and my money is still stuck for over 8 days since I bridged. So while bridging dapp has their advantage of being sometimes fast and cheaper than centralised exchanges, it has its disadvantages. One of them is having your money stuck on the blockchain for days and you have to rely on the support for help and it will take time. From wanting to kill 4 minutes, you might end up spending days if your asset gets stuck.
