I started learning how to drive a car in 2015 because I was bored, but I didn’t really care about driving. I have always been a car lover but due to my motion sickness issue I don’t think I would love or be interested in driving a car for a long time. Short drives cool, but long drives nah. Fast forward to 9 years later I decided that it’s time to want to own a car, I suddenly want to drive, want to know how it feels to drive people and just drive. I don’t have lots of friends that own a car, so in order for me to perfect my driving skill I need to buy a car.

Buying a car in Nigeria is very expensive, this is because of the bad economy of Nigeria, The cost of owning a car in Nigeria is doubled the price of owning the same car in other western worlds. This means that I have to save up and work so hard. December last year I started my car saving journey, I started saving for it, but I am a huge crypto investor, this means that most of my income come from crypto, and I need money to make more money in the crypto space. This means that it’s just a matter of time before I will need to use my car savings to invest in crypto.
I did and it gave me more yield and I was excited, I got close to half of the money I needed to buy the car, I needed $10k for the car, but had $4.5k saved, needed $5.5k. Then I saw the kinto opportunity, removed $1.8k from my savings to invest in Kinto, sadly Kinto flopped and became one of my biggest mistakes. I had $2.7k left, more bills came, and I settled those bills, then more new crypto investment opportunities came and I invested and now I am left with no savings again. Just funny how life is, one day you are highly anticipating a car and excited about it, the next day you are just grateful for still having your mental health intact.
