Now these are NFTs worth buying, whenever you hear NFTs being bought for outrageous amount, this NFT should be one of them, not some unnecessary profile picture NFT with no utility being bought for over $100k. Some of us are familiar with Rihanna right? The global singer with a lot of smash hits, especially her smash hit “Bitch Better Have My Money”. That song was a global hit in 2015, I think, the song was turned to an NFT and was sold out as a fractional NFT. Unfortunately I didn’t get the information on time, I would have bought the NFT, because the NFT was very cheap.
Imagine a song like that being sold for $210 per fraction and it was divided into 300 fractions, that is $63000 for the NFT. We know the song is worth fair more than that but, I feel there is a bigger fish they wanted to fry. The 300 fraction song NFT was sold out in a matter of minutes, within minutes of the announcement the NFT got sold out. Expected right? Do you know what it means to own a part of the song? This means that owners of this NFT will own royalties of the song and will share the streaming royalties of the song. This means you get to earn for life as long as people keep streaming Rihanna’s songs. The percentage is about 0.0033%, this is wild, that song must have done a billion stream and will probably do more.
What is the bigger fish here to fry, there are 300 piece of that NFT and it was sold for $210 has the public sales price, that NFT has value and utility, which is Rihanna’s song, Rihanna has a massive fan base and these people love her so much. This means that they will never stop streaming this song, these NFT holders will keep earning. The demand for the NFT will be increasing, right now there is no floor price for this NFT because people dont want to sell, and can only sell if you can offer them bigger money. The last sales of this NFT is from1 ETH and above. That is, people minted this NFT FOR $210 and sold for over $1,500. Trust me, if the NFT is truly legit then the owners of these NFTs are owning a priceless possession. I’m jealous.
