Decided to go check out my old post to compare my crypto knowledge and I can’t help but be grateful for my crypto knowledge journey so far. It’s been a daily growth journey, wow!!! What a journey it has been, especially when doing something you love. Learning crypto has been something that makes me so happy, that’s one thing I wish I studied in college.
When I started investing in crypto in 2018, I was limited to buying just bitcoin and Ethereum, because they were the top 2 cryptos and all I wanted was the best coins to put my money in. 🤦♂️ what a crypto noob I was then, I was so scared of buying any other coin after my experience with Bytecoin(BCN). I never knew what Defi was and I didn’t care to know. Trading crypto news didn’t catch my attention only if it’s pertaining bitcoin and Ethereum. So my crypto knowledge was extremely limited and myopic. All I did was buy bitcoin when it gets to a particular low and sell when it gets to a particular high. Then I wait for the price to come down so I can buy it again, while waiting I subconsciously declare my mind that if it doesn’t come down, I won’t buy it again.
Thinking about all these makes me laugh because I was a toddler in the crypto space. Whenever I made $100, I got so excited and felt like Jeff Bezos. There was a point in my life I got confused to when I can finally start calling myself “crypto investor”.
But all that childish crypto mentality changed when I joined Leofinance in May. It’s amazing how much someone can learn in a short period of time with passion, dedication and excitement. I joined Leofinance and I felt like a rabbit who just found a big farm of carrot. All I saw was crypto knowledge on Leofinance. The adrenaline rush I felt was amazing, I was ready to read as much as I could and share my knowledge on Leofinance. Honestly speaking I joined Leofinance because the blog I read on publishox said I could blog about crypto and get cool rewards. I didn’t care how much the rewards were, but as long as people read and appreciated my blog, I was grateful.
I remember getting my first blog comment, I rushed to my sister and showed her that someone read my blog and felt it was good enough to drop a comment. Then I learnt to read other people’s post, to gain insight on what my next blog would be.
My blogging experience has taught me that reading more makes you write more, that’s a great secret to creating content constantly on the blockchain. Always try to gain knowledge before sharing knowledge.
Earning through Leofinance has been great, I learnt about Defi, staking and delegating from Leofinance. This has been one of my greatest flex on 2021, the idea of the fact that I can put my money somewhere and I will be getting reward from the blockchain all because of a smart contract.
Earning on splinterlands was also learnt here on Leofinance with the help of reading @belemo ‘s blog. He talked about splinterlands so much I decided to invest there, although all my earnings from splinterlands have been reinvested back into it by buying lots of cards at cheap rates.
I can’t talk about my NFT collections without referring to Leofinance and @l337m45732 that was were I met my Hive/Leofinance bro. This guy inspired me into purchasing my first NFT. Funny how he turned from my motivation to one of my realest Hive friends, am grateful for the blockchain and the opportunity to connect with him.
Glad to have impacted and shared knowledge to everyone that has come across my post and learnt something. I won’t be able to do all those without Leofinance and the Hive blockchain.
