I noticed in my newsfeed a couple of days ago that 'crypto kitties are back' and so decided to check out the prices on Non Fungible dot com.
And while they're not selling for their 2017 prices, the sales figures aren't looking too shabby either....
The screenshot above shows the latest sales (earlier today) for a range of kitties from gen 4 to gen 10 going from around $20 to $100.
Add on another $40 for ETH fees and people are still prepared to pay some decent coin for these 'classic' NFTs.
I guess people with more ETH than sense are gambling on nostalgia.
I've had some kitties listed for three years now, and at these prices it's a possibility they might sell - I've got 4 kitties from Gen 6 to Gen 10 on the market from 0.025 up, that's starting at around $100, and at current market trends it's really just luck of the draw whether I get a sale.
The gas fees are too high on ETH anyway to make it worth my while cancelling any of the sales.....
Although I'm not too hopeful, I don't imagine there's that much demand to pay double the listed price once you factor in gas!
