I cannot imagine that I am writing this post the second time. I drafted a complete post and hit publish button on Leofinance but it never appeared anywhere. I could not save the draft or could access anything on the blocks. Let's do it again - one more time :)
I came across a new blockchain based social media platform named OMNI. I remember reading a post on Leofinance written by one of the users. I did not dive into the project back then. However, few other crypto twitter handle suggested this project and I decided to see what it is all about.
And, my interest picked due to the recent resurgence of NFT based tokens. I think the future is bright for community based tokens powered by blockchain. Since I am on Hive and active in the crypto space, I do not want to miss on any new social media platform irrespective of their credibility.
The OMNI project seems legit. They have a strong twitter following and good Discord presence. The project has well known strategic partners like coingecko and polygon network. The concept they provide is to create a mobile platform that mimics instagram and tiktok. It is not like hive blogging platform where words matter. It seems like a new generation photo and video sharing platform but backed by a blockchain. I am not sure which blockchain the project is based on but the token has already launched on pancakeswap. They have also created a bridge to transfer assets to polygon and add liquidity.
The tokenomics is decent as any other crypto project. The private sell and seed sell are done and the coin is available to trade. The only downside of the project is there is no demo. Users cannot access demo. We have to rely on the promises they have outlined on their website.
Just not to miss out, I decided to ape in. I bought a tiny bag of OMNI tokens on pancakeswap. I am not doing anything with the coins but buying the tokens will keep my interest in the project.
